Howdy!

I'm Yazmon Ector, but you can call me “Yaz” (unless you're my mom – hi, Mom!) or  a“Swiss Army Knife of Production”.

With seven years of experience, as a chronically online creative, I have a passion for creating works that resonate and tell the truth; that includes championing diverse voices and representation within content and team building. That passion has led me to winning shiny objects like a 2023 ProMax and having my comedy pilot “Godspeed Gia” place in the 2024 Essence Fest Film Festival.

I've had the privilege of working within in-house agencies at renowned organizations, including Nickelodeon, CBS News Brand Studio - Streaming Division, EatStreet, the University of Michigan, and the National Center of Institutional Diversity.

When I’m not writing ways to make people laugh, cry, or sell brands, I’m getting my MBA in Advertising and completing side quests like: Hunting the streets of NYC for the best baklava, doing the “unique” voice for my Dungeons and Dragons character, doing stand-up in Williamsburg (I know, I know), DJ’ing, and critiquing music and pop culture.

As you can tell, me and Boredom have a longstanding beef.
